 John Lydon: Vocals (1978-Present)
After fronting the Sex Pistols, John Lydon formed Public Image Ltd in 1978. PiL went onto blend a variety of different musical styles over three decades before returning in 2009. Outside of PiL John has released several solo records and collaborations. He also brings quality TV to the masses.

Lu Edmonds: Guitar & Misc (1986-88) (2009-Present)
Multi instrumentalist and former guitarist in The Damned Lu joined PiL in 1986 recording and playing on the album Happy? and co-writing the album 9 adding yet another dimension to the PiL sound. Lu is also associated with a variety of eclectic and acoustic bands including The Mekons and Yat-Kha.

Bruce Smith: Drums (1986-90) (2009-Present)
Former drummer in The Pop Group and The Slits became percussionist for PiL also in 1986 playing and recording on the albums Happy? and 9. Seen as a drumming virtuoso, Bruce Smith brought his unique style into the fold. Bruce has also played with the likes of Björk and Terence Trent D’Arby.

Scott Firth: Bass & Keyboards (2009-Present)
A bass player/multi instrumentalist that has collaborated and played with a variety of top musicians and bands including Steve Winwood, John Martyn, Elvis Costello and The Spice Girls. Scott’s arrival into the band in 2009 resulted in John Lydon declaring him "Genius at work!"

The fans love AC/DC not only because of the music but although because AC/DC treat their fans with respect. They know that the people are waiting in front of their hotels and they go out to sign autographs and pose for pictures with the fans. We had the opportunity to meet the band and were so happy that these guys are just normal people.

Axl is another story! I won´t get into it! 

I just want to say: THANK YOU so much Angus, Cliff, Stevie and Chris!

AC/DC gig in Hamburg, 26th May 2016

Concert in Hamburg (26th May 2016): 

The gig in Hamburg was very good, but very different due to the "new" singer. Axl Rose did a very good job especially on the Bon Scott-Songs, because he has been a fan of Bon for a long time. You could see that he loved to sing those songs and the band changed the setlist and played more Bon-songs. We enjoyed the whole concert and were glad that we went. 

Angus ran around like a young guy but did not put down his pants and kept his shirt on. He played his guitar with his tie. Axl ran around on stage the whole concert and sang - as said - very good. Cliff (b) and Chris (d) layed down a very hard and excelent sound. Stevie assisted Angus on rhythm guitar and sang background vocals. Cliff sang background too. With Axl in the band they had to do more background vocals then usual. 

We were a little late so we could not get to the FOS-section. So the pictures are not as good as I hoped, but they show the emotions etc.

The Corrs on Tour in Germany

THE CORRS sind zurück – und es ist, als wären sie nie wirklich fort gewesen. Zehn Jahre nach dem letzten Album "Home", auf dem THE CORRS irische Folksongs interpretierten, präsentieren sie nun ihr brandneues Album "White Light"! Nachdem THE CORRS im September 2015 eine triumphale Show im Londoner Hyde-Park gespielt hatten, werden sie das neue Album im Januar 2016 auf einer Tour durch Irland und das UK live vorstellen. 

Andrea (Leadgesang), Sharon (Violine, Gesang), Caroline (Drums, Piano, Gesang) und Jim Corr (Gitarre, Piano, Gesang) sind die wahrscheinlich musikalischste Familie Irlands. Seit ihrem Debüt "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" (1995) verkauften sie über 30 Millionen Alben. Ihr größter Erfolg in Deutschland war bisher das Album "In Blue", das sie im Jahr 2000 auf Platz 1 der deutschen Charts katapultierte.

Doña Oxford & Band at MusicStar Norderstedt, 09th May 2016

Am 09. Mai 2016 gastierten Doña Oxford, James Beck, Ellen O´Reilly und Mikey Ciancio im MusicStar in Norderstedt bei Hamburg. Ein Konzert, welches uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. 

Die Band kam direkt aus Zwickau zum Konzert nach Norderstedt und es blieb nicht viel Zeit zum Aufbau der Tonanlage etc. Die Vorbereitungen vom Club waren wieder klasse. Sie machen immer einen super Job und geben sich sehr viel Mühe, jedem Musiker gerecht zu werden. Danke hier geht an das tolle Team vom Club!

Das Konzert begann und alle waren von der ersten Sekunde begeistert. Der kleine Club war gut gefüllt und wir hatten einen guten Platz in der forderen Reihe. Doña und ihre Band lieferten ab und alle waren begeistert. Sogar einen Rap präsentierte sie während des zweiten Sets. Wir waren alle beeindruckt. Eine wirklich vielseitige Sängerin und Keyboardspielerin. 

Sie ließ auch ihrer Band den Raum, sich zu entfalten und zu zeigen was sie drauf haben. Mehrere Soli an der Gitarre lieferte James perfekt ab, auch Ellen am Bass wurde bei ihrem Soli abgefeiert, was nur allzu verständlich war. Sehr beeindruckende Technik hat die Dame. Mikey durfte natürlich an seinen Drums auch zeigen, was er so drauf hat. Einfach nur klasse. 

Nach dem Konzert war die Band recht geschafft, aber doch glücklich, dass es alle gut gefallen hat. Vielen Dank an Doña und ihre Band für einen sehr schönen Konzertabend.
