Ronnie Wood is best known as a former member of the Jeff Beck Group, Faces, and the Rolling Stones guitarist since 1975. He is also a well-known visual artist. His paintings, drawings and prints frequently feature icons of popular culture and have been exhibited all over the world.

BluesFest 2013
has confirmed Robert Plant, Bobby Womack, Van Morrison, Gregory Porter, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Mavis Staples and Chris Rea for a celebration of music inspired by the Blues.
BluesFest takes place at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday 29 October – Friday 1 November and is the first full scale music festival of its kind to be hosted at the venue. Performances taking place not just in the main auditorium, but also in other spaces around the Hall during the daytime.
Throughout the day, four rooms will feature a variation of one-off intimate sessions featuring blues & soul inspired acts; renowned music journalist David Hepworth will be conducting an in conversation with... ; North America Guitars will showcase some of the finest instruments around from their unique collection of handmade acoustic and electric guitars; plus there's a chance to see the instruments in action with some exclusive BluesFest sessions from a variety of emerging new talent such as Ben Montague.
In addition the Royal Albert Hall will open its incredible vault of memorabilia from an unrivalled history that includes rock and roll artefacts from Eric Clapton, The Stones, BB King, Muddy Waters and many more.
In the evening there will be two concerts, taking place in the early and late part of the evening in the main auditorium, headlined by Robert Plant, Van Morrison, Bobby Womack, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Chris Rea and other artists. Bluesfest will also celebrate the music of the recently departed legend, Bobby Bland - this promises to be an unforgettable evening with an All-Star line-up including Van Morrison and Mick Hucknall on Friday November 1st.
Fresh from touring with The Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood will be closing BluesFest 2013. Last year Ronnie Wood brought the house down with an incredible celebration of the legendary Chess Records. This year promises to go one step further, as Ronnie and his band return to perform a special tribute to one of the most influential bluesmen of all time – Jimmy Reed. Ronnie will lend his boisterous riffmanship and incisive vocals to some of his favourite Jimmy Reed tracks in an incredible grand finale to BluesFest.

Continuing the festival theme, there will be various food and bar stalls, merchandise and stands all open throughout the day, it is the only opportunity for visitors to see the Royal Albert Hall host an event in this way and is a must for lovers of live music.
Tickets start from £30.00 for headline shows, with a separate adult Daytime Stroller ticket available for £10.00 and free Daytime entry for children.

Congratulations to Ronnie on his marriage to Sally Humphreys. And Rod was the best man.



Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood has secretly tied the knot with Sally Humphreys, the Mirror can reveal.

The rocker wed the theatre producer at the The Dorchester Hotel, in Mayfair, London, today with fellow musician Rod Stewart as his best man.
