Charlie Hart started playing fiddle since he was six, but immediately started straying into fields beyond conventional western music. A love of jazz and blues rapidly drew him to African music. This led to time spent in Ghana in the sixties, and later…
Charlie Hart’s Equators are a group of London based R’n’B jazz musicians. They are stepping outside their usual frames of reference and exploring the roots of the music they’ve spent a lifetime playing. 
The music - R ‘n’ B and Afrogroove - is full blooded, uplifting and unprocessed.

We enjoyed a wonderful gig at the Downtown Bluesclub. Met with some friends and met some new ones. 

What a great gig! They played to a small but very enthusiastic crowd at the Downtown Bluesclub. They never let the audience down and played some of the new songs and although some of the old stuff.

After the gig Chris and the guys and the girl of the band were happy to meet the fans. We bought the new cd and talked to Chris and his band.

SLIM CHANCE, the band Ronnie Lane formed when he left the Faces, is treading the boards again. Original members Steve Simpson, Charlie Hart, Steve Bingham, Alun Davies and Colin Davey, joined by Geraint Watkins, are playing Ronnie’s songs in the spirit of the band’s previous incarnations.
