We stayed in line outside The Strand PizzaExpress and met some familiar faces. Got downstairs and was directed to the table by a very nice waiter. After a while I met some fellow fans from Belgium sat nearby and invited me to their table. We exchanged the latest news. We had drinks and waited for the concert to start. We were so happy to be there. The view was not the best, but we had the chance to walk around in the back. The place was packed with excited blues-fans. Ben Waters took the stage with the band and introduced the bandmembers. They started the set and everyone was into that music by the very first note.
The place was packed, but I took the chance to walk around to take some picture, which can be found in my flickr-album by clicking on the picture above.
The second gig was scheduled half an hour later. I left the venue to wait and see where I end up at the second gig. The seat was okay and this time I did not have to run around to find a good spot to take some pictures and have a little bit to eat. We enjoyed this gig even more and the band seemed to enjoy it too. Can not recall a single song just now, just to excited.
Thank you Ben Waters for organising such a great gig.
Just want to say THANK YOU to Bill Wyman, Terry Taylor and Tony for making my day in London even more special.
