Der 71-jährige Brite, der in den 60ern die legendäre Rockband Cream mitbegründete, starb am Samstag in seinem Haus in Suffolk im Südosten Englands, wie seine Sprecherin mitteilte. Bruce erlag einem Leberleiden. Die Familie nehme mit großer Trauer Abschied von "unserem geliebten Jack: Ehemann, Vater, Großvater und Legende", hieß es auf der Website des Musikers. "Die Welt der Musik wird ohne ihn ärmer sein, aber er lebt weiter in seiner Musik und auf ewig in unseren Herzen."
