Bon Jovi wurde Anfang der 1980er-Jahre in New Jersey gegründet und gehört mit mittlerweile über 120 Millionen Alben zu den erfolgreichsten Rock Bands aller Zeiten. Viele Hits der Band, unter anderem Livin’ on a Prayer, You Give Love a Bad Name, Keep the Faith oder This Ain’t a Love Song komponierte Desmond Child zusammen mit Jon Bon Jovi und Richie Sambora. Der erste Plattenvertrag für Jon, denn die anderen Bandmitglieder sind bei Ihm angestellt, folgte Ende 1983 das erste Album erschien im Januar 1984.Der große Durchbruch gelang erst 1986 nachdem Bon Jovi vorher im Vorprogramm der Scorpions und von KISS auf Tour waren. Livin on a Prayer schlug weltweit ein. Seither spielen Bon Jovi nur noch in ausverkauften Hallen und Stadien, dem Kopf der Band Jon Bon Jovi gelang nach eine Pause und einigen Soloprojekten im Jahr 2000 erneut der große Coup, mit dem Album Crush und der Singleauskopplung It´s my life erreichten Sie weltweiten Platinstatus. Bon Jovi spielte das erste unplugged Konzert vor großem Publikum. Jon spielte bei den MTV World Music Awards zusammen mit Richard Sambora mit 2 akustik Gitarren Wanted dead or alive und Livin on a Prayer, diesem Trend folgten dann in den 90iger Jahren Künstler, wie Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen oder Eric Clapton. Viele Preise krönen die Laufbahn von Bon Jovi, aber unsterblich wurde die Band mit der Verleihung des Diamond Awards bei den World Music Awards 2005, dieser Preis wurde nur an Musiker mit mehr als 100 Millionen verkauften Alben verliehen, neben Bon Jovi sind das Mariah Carey, Celine Dion und Rod Steward. In Deutschland erhielten Sie 2007 den Bambi in der Kategorie Musik international. Bei der letzten Tour von 2007- 2008 spielten Bon Jovi vor insgesamt über 2,1 Millionen Menschen. 

Diese Tour wurde lange erwartet und die Fans sind schon sehr gespannt auf die neue Show.

He only did a one off in Oberhausen this year. My friend and I travelled there and had the time of our lifes. Had great seats. Rod was in great form and his voice was in top form. Loved it so much. If you like his voice and his songs, do not wait to buy the tickets. You won´t be disappointed. 

The new album is although fab!
