Robert Francis Vaughn (born November 22, 1932) is an American actor noted for his stage, film and television work. His best-known TV roles include the suave spy Napoleon Solo in the 1960s series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and the wealthy detective Harry Rule in the 1970s series The Protectors. In film, he portrayed one of the title characters in The Magnificent Seven and Major Paul Krueger in The Bridge at Remagen, and provided the voice of Proteus IV, the computer villain of Demon Seed.

As grifter and card sharp Albert Stroller, Vaughn appeared in all but one of the 48 episodes of the British television drama series Hustle (2004–2012). From January to February 2012, he appeared in the long-running British soap opera Coronation Street as Milton Fanshaw, character Sylvia Goodwin's new love interest. (wikipedia)

He is a great actor and a real gentleman. It was raining that day in London and many people were waiting for him outside the theatre. Many of these people are there every day I was told. I was so happy that I got his autograph after waiting for hours.

Franny Beecher of the Original Comets has died / RIP Franny Beecher

"I am sad to say that my Grandfather has passed away this evening at 10:30. He's on his way to rock 'n roll heaven. He will be missed but he is at peace now.
Sincerely,
Michelle Beecher"

Our thoughts and prayers go out the beecher family at this sad time, if only for awhile. Franny now will be playing the biggest "gig"of his life for the master musician of all musicians both great and small!-"How great thou art"!.Franny,rest in peace!

Francis "Franny" Beecher (September 29, 1921 – February 24, 2014), also known as Frank Beecher, was the lead guitarist for Bill Haley & His Comets from 1954 to 1962, and is best remembered for his innovative guitar solos combining elements of country music and jazz. He composed the classics "Blue Comet Blues", "Goofin' Around", "Week End", and "Shaky" when he was the lead guitarist for Bill Haley and the Comets. He continued to perform with surviving members of the Comets into 2006. In 2012, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Beecher as a member of the Comets by a special committee, aimed at correcting the previous mistake of not inducting the Comets with Bill Haley. Product Description

Frettening Behaviour is the latest studio album by guitar legend Albert Lee and his UK-based band Hogan s Heroes. It brings together some fine and diverse material and features five songs penned by members of the band. Released under the band s own Heroic Records imprint and also including a number of gems written by the likes of Jim Lauderdale, Rodney Crowell, Gerry Goffin and Glen Campbell, the set runs the musical gamut, as one might expect from this most eclectic of acts. 
The album opens with the Green Day classic 'Good Riddance' and is followed by Paul Kennerly s retro rocker 'Spellbound' Then comes 'No One Can Make My Sunshine Smile' a cover of an Everly Brothers single form the 60's. These are followed by 'Oh Marie' penned by band members Gavin Povey and Brian Hodgson and 'The King Of Broken Hearts' which features Peter Baron on lead vocal. Peter takes the lead vocal slot again on the Brian Hodgson / Ray Peters songs 'Showdown' and 'You Know You Just Might'. 
Gavin Povey is the featured vocalist on his own compositions 'Big Town Girl', 'When Elvis Broke The News' and 'Looks Like Love'. Albert is the lead vocalist on all the other tracks, which include the evergreen 'My Window Faces The South', Rodney Crowell s beautiful 'A Song For The Life', Richie Havens 'Dreaming As One' and Glen Campbell s poignant 'A Better Place' The cover artwork will be recognisable to many as that of Klaus Voormann, known of course for The Beatles 'Revolver' and 'Anthology' album covers. 
Check the album credits for a list of some very special guests who have contributed to this album and you will be in no doubt as to its quality. 'Frettening Behaviour' offers a bumper helping of Albert Lee & Hogan s Heroes distinctive blend of R&R, R&B and country, which reflects where the band is at musically as it moves into 2014. It will surely delight all their faithful followers, as well as hopefully turning on many less committed listeners to the unsung Heroes in their midst.

Europas größte Ausstellung von Riesenschlangen, Leguane, Echsen, Skorpione, Spinnen u. a. gastierte zum ersten Mal in Pinneberg. Eine tolle Erfahrung für Groß und Klein, einer Schlange oder einem Leguan so nahe zu kommen.
Gegen einen geringen Betrag (€ 5,00) konnte man sich mit einer Schlange, dem Leguan oder auch einer Vogelspinne fotografieren lassen.

This was the last gig of the tour. It was a really great one. They began at 10:20 pm and played until 1:00 am. Wow! Powerful 2 Sets. They had to change the setlist due to technical problems. Andy and the guys played an acoustic set and after everything was fixed, Andy said: "Who needs electricity?" Dave Bronze responded immediately: "You need it!" Everbody laughed.
Then came a 20 minute brake and we could get a drink and spoke to some people we met there.
The band came back on stage and played another set filled with energy. And they changed the setlist again due to an unexpected brake in the middle of the second set. Andy said, that he has never been on stage until 1:00 am. His flight was 7:30 am and the audience said: "So there is plenty of time to entertain us" Haha!
After the gig Andy, Nick, Dave and Paul signed some autographs.
Hope to see this band again really soon.

A great concert evening with Rhythm & Blues, Rock, Country and a lot of funny stories! 
The concert started at 9 pm and was a firework of great songs from all era´s of Andy´s career and the songs from the new album fit perfectly into the set.
