Alan Merrill, lead singer and founder of The Arrows and of course 'I LOVE ROCK & ROLL' writer and original recording artist, returns to the UK this week. The Arrows were a major force on the Seventies Glam Rock scene with hits including 'Touch Too Much', 'My Last Night With You' and 'Toughen Up'. Prior to The Arrows, Alan Merrill scored the first Glam Rock hit single in Japan 'Automatic Pilot'/'Sands Of Time' his band Vodka Collins. Going on to work with members of the Rolling Stones before joining Derringer and Meatloaf during the 80s, Alan Merrill continues to write, record and tour, with a new album 'On A Blue Avenue' available now.
